Every PDA that enters our facility undergoes a comprehensive restoration process developed by former Palm and HP engineers. Our meticulous approach ensures each device not only looks great but functions perfectly.
Our Restoration Steps
Initial Assessment
Complete evaluation of device condition, functionality testing, and documentation of any issues. We photograph each device for our records.
Disassembly
Careful disassembly using specialized tools. Each component is cataloged and inspected for wear or damage.
Deep Cleaning
Ultrasonic cleaning of internal components, careful cleaning of screens and cases using appropriate solutions.
Screen Restoration
Touch screen calibration, digitizer testing, and replacement of screen protectors. Minor scratch removal when possible.
Battery Service
Battery testing and replacement with new cells when needed. All batteries are tested for capacity and safety.
Port & Connector Cleaning
Thorough cleaning of all ports, expansion slots, and connectors to ensure reliable connections.
Button & Control Testing
All physical buttons, scroll wheels, and controls are tested and serviced for proper tactile response.
Software Restoration
OS verification, hard reset to factory settings, and installation of essential applications where applicable.
Reassembly
Careful reassembly with new thermal pads and adhesives where needed. All screws and components properly secured.
Functionality Testing
Comprehensive testing of all features including WiFi, Bluetooth, IR, audio, and expansion slots.
Cosmetic Finishing
Final polishing, application of protective coatings, and styling restoration to achieve like-new appearance.
Quality Certification
Final 48-hour burn-in test, quality inspection, and certification by our senior technician before shipping.
